Apprentice Print Finisher

Varied opportunity for an enthusiastic, hands-on apprentice to join successful family run Litho & Digital Printers in Warwickshire
The successful apprentice will develop their knowledge and understanding of Print finishing

  • Learning the fundamentals of print finishing
  • Learn all aspects of print finishing, folding , stitching , guillotine
  • Learning stitching of folded products
  • Running folders and learning protocol
  • Replenishing stock

You will need a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Training Provided
NVQ in Print Finishing
Functional skills where required
Full apprenticeship certificate awarded on completion

Annual Wage
To be discussed depending on age

Working Week (Days and Hours)
Monday – Friday  40 hours

About the Candidate

Skills required

  • Practical skills and hand-to-eye coordination
  • An appreciation for detail, design and colour matching
  • Problem-solving skills
  • The ability to concentrate for long periods and follow instructions closely
  • Self-motivation
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • A willingness to keep up to date with developments in printing technology
  • The ability to work as part of a team and alone.
  • Good communication skills

Qualifications required
Good Maths and English skills are required in order to be able to understand and interpret job details and instructions.

Apprentice Litho Printer

Varied opportunity for an enthusiastic, hands-on apprentice to join successful family run Litho & Digital Printers in Warwickshire
The successful apprentice will develop their knowledge and understanding of Machine Printing, more specifically Lithographic Printing;

  • Learning the fundamentals of Lithography
  • Monitoring chemistry, Maintaining presses, Keeping presses clean and clear
  • Learning 4 colour printing and colour management
  • Running presses and learning protocol
  • Replenishing stock

You will need a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Training Provided
