Warwick Printing runners complete the course
On Sunday, a team of 11 runners from Warwick Printing completed the Leamington Regency 10k race. The weather held off to provide almost perfect conditions for the runners to get round the course although, conditions underfoot around the golf course were a bit slippy! Well done to Gary Mortimer, Warwick Printing’s Estimator who completed the course in the fantastic time of 43mins and 56 secs, the fastest runner for team Warwick Printing.
This year’s event, which was the 10th anniversary, has grown from just 500 runners in the 1st year to over 2200 entries this year and is very much seen as a pre London Marathon warm up. Warwick Printing are delighted to be involved as an event sponsor, as they recognise that it is a great community and fundraising event. This year the main charity was British Blind Sport and eight time Paralympic medallist Noel Thatcher who is partially sighted, was the official race starter and was then assisted round the course by Nick George, the husband of a Warwick Printing runner.
